I already switched to an imperial administration which gave me a 25+ boost to the vassal limit but its not enough under my current ruler and so apart from dealing with the threat of factions (easy to sway through with land and gold) I do really need to keep my empire from falling apart, so do you have any sugestions for this problem with going over vassal limit? I tried creating as many vassal kings as I could (preferably members of family) and I did briefly go under vassal limit again but then some kind of glitch happened and unexpectedly I went over the limit again and whenever I tried to give someone a landed title to balance it out my only options were empire level lands. I've been gradually building up a global eurasion empire though upon death of my last ruler and under his sucessor my demense size was reduced and I was easily over vassal limit.
